What is the Expert Prepaid Segment?

The ideal candidate will play a leading role in the prepaid segment’s base management by devising and implementing a strategy for sub-segment life cycle and revenue enhancement to sustain the voice business and grow the data business along with growth in the Multiplay segment. The candidate should have sound analytical skills, experience in customer lifecycle management, the ability to envision a personalized portfolio as well as contextual marketing use cases and be great at stakeholders’ management.

A 13-member team (including the department head) with 03 sub-teams. You will be part of a 5-member sub-team reporting to the Head of Prepaid Segment

What does the Expert Prepaid Segment do?

  • Work with the Head of the Prepaid Segment for the development of Value value-led growth strategy in line with business objectives
  • Increase product and campaign engagement leading to an increase in ARPU, increase activity levels of subscribers, management of churn, and enhanced revenue
  • Monitor internal KPIs including subscribers, traffic, revenue, etc., and identify gaps in new initiatives
  • Review post-product change impact for all engagement initiatives and propose the optimal way forward
  • Act as a bridge between the Prepaid segment team and the CVM team for the implementation of the base management strategy
  • Ability to build strong relationships with other teams: CVM, Pricing, Finance, Product development, Regional & CC Teams to ensure operational excellence in executing overall strategy

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Business graduate from a recognized institute with 5 years of experience in a similar role

Soft skills and technical skills required

  • Understand CMS, BI Tools, and data science capabilities
  • Microsoft Office is an absolute requirement; the candidate must be extremely proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Good to have Power BI / Tableau skills
  • Have sound analytical abilities, problem identification, and resolution skills, and creative/consumer insights abilities.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and work closely with a diverse, cross-functional team of professionals

The Manager of Business Support is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimizing the business support functions within an organization. This role involves strategic planning, operational efficiency, and team leadership to ensure that all administrative and support services align with the company’s overall goals. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, leading projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering innovation. The Manager of Business Support works closely with various departments to meet their needs effectively, continuously seeking improvements in processes and services to enhance productivity and organizational effectiveness.

The role reports directly to the Head of Indirect Sales Channel.

What does Manager Business Support do?

  • Develop and implement business support strategies aligned with overall company goals
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize processes
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the business support team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Monitor customer support metrics and KPIs, addressing any issues promptly to ensure high service standards
  • Monthly Sales Targets set to achieve the overall yearly Sales Target of the Channel
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and Channel Planning teams to ensure alignment and support for business initiatives
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to enhance overall business performance
  • Prepare regular reports on business Achievements, performance, and outcomes
  • Conduct analysis to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement
  • Identify potential risks within business support functions and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Communicating region strategy and performance to leadership and other stakeholders

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager of Business Support?

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Business administration (MBA)
  • Strategic Planning, Reporting, and Data Analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and Presentation skills
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a similar role within the telecom sector
  • Extensive experience in business support or operations management, preferably within the telecom sector
