ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international University / College / Institute recognized by the HEC with at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA of 2.5.

AGE

  • Maximum 26 years (as of last date of submission of application).

EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates having 01 years of relevant banking experience would be preferred.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

OUTLINE OF MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To manage/handle all front & back-office transactions efficiently
  • To manage and handle remittance-related activities
  • To open and maintain customer accounts
  • To monitor inoperative and dormant accounts / serve notices to unclaimed account holders when required
  • To process online transactions and remittances along with the issuance of financial instruments
  • To process the collection of inward and outward clearing in line with internal SOPs and Prudential Regulations
  • To process ATM claim settlements and maintain lockers
  • To manage cash handling activities when assigned
  • To process and manage term deposits (issuance, payments, balancing of TDR)
  • To ensure that operational and front office activities are carried out appropriately as assigned
  • To assist the Operations Manager in promoting or selling products or services such as Travelers Cheques, Saving Bonds, Money Orders, Cashier Cheques, etc.
  • To scrutinize all transaction vouchers on a daily basis and ensure hard copies are filed properly to maintain the auditable trail
  • To issue receipts against the transfer of payments to the customers
  • To perform daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating, and posting accounts receivable data/account-related entries & reconciling payments with general ledger account
  • To generate various month-end reports
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the Supervisor(s)

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • To supervise the offsite review process of the team and recommend changes/updates as required in the mechanism
  • To manage and conduct quality assurance of all International Compliance Division (ICD) reviews, regulatory reports & trackers, offshore quarterly and monthly reports; and Compliance Committee of Managements (CCMs)
  • To ensure the branches comply with new or amended regulations. Circulate relevant updates to the team. Keep track of action plans
  • To review proposals, vendor assessment, user acceptance testing results, scenarios & parameters assessment, conducted by the Country Compliance Officer (CCO) and share feedback as required. Keep track of the required review, assessment, and updates (if any) of the existing systems
  • To ensure Branch Compliance Committee Meetings (BCCMs) are carried out as per frequency. Review and recommend changes to agendas and Terms of Reference (TOR) updates, as required. Prepare a quarterly summary update on the issues escalated by the Branch Compliance Committee Meetings for Head Office Compliance Committee of Managements (HO CCMs)
  • To ensure QA and review of all Compliance-related Policies and Procedures of overseas branches. Coordinate with Compliance Group stakeholders for feedback. Ensure detailed MIS of all overseas policies and procedures are maintained as per SBP framework requirement
  • To prepare necessary agendas and presentations for the Compliance Committee of Management and Board Risk and Compliance Committee. Keep track of all relevant Agenda items and their escalations
  • To liaise with Country Compliance Officers & internal stakeholders. Maintain strong coordination with the Country Compliance Officers, Financial Institutions & Remittances Group (IFRG), and Audit & Inspection Group (A&IG) on the matters under the purview of the Department through regular emails, calls, and online meetings
  • To assign and follow up on annual online compliance training programs for overseas Country Compliance Officers and International Compliance Division team members
  • To manage team data and ensure MIS is maintained and updated as per requirements. Formalize the data presentation and reports. Submit monthly updates to the Wing Head
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • To assist the Group Head in formulating and implementing strategic plans for asset recovery and remedial management outlining the goals, targets, and methodologies for maximizing the recovery of distressed or defaulted assets
  • To conduct thorough risk assessments of distressed assets, analyzing potential financial, legal, and market risks associated with the recovery process
  • To assess the value of distressed assets and formulate strategies to optimize their recovery potential, which may involve collaborating with appraisers, auditors, and other relevant professionals
  • To ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements during the asset recovery process, including adherence to relevant laws, policies, and procedures
  • To evaluate credit risk for remedial management to be able to recommend restructuring / rehabilitating the distressed going concerns using out-of-the-box solutions
  • To negotiate with defaulting parties or stakeholders to reach settlements and agreements that maximize the recovery value of distressed assets
  • To interact with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, legal counsel, regulatory authorities, and other relevant parties, to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the asset recovery process
  • To ensure unit reporting maintain accurate documentation of all asset recovery activities, prepare comprehensive reports on the progress and outcomes of asset recovery initiatives and present them to senior management and relevant stakeholders keeping intact the auditable trails of documentation
  • To develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with the recovery process, including but not limited to financial, legal, and reputational risks
  • To establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking the progress of asset recovery initiatives, monitoring the performance of the asset recovery team, and making necessary adjustments to ensure the achievement of set goals
  • To identify areas for improvement in the asset recovery process and to implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance
  • To present credit proposals to the credit committee
  • To stay updated on industry trends and best practices in asset recovery to ensure the success of the team’s efforts
  • To provide coaching to the units reporting to enhance their knowledge and skills
