Position: Senior Cargo Sales Executive
We are recruiting for a Senior Cargo Sales Executive for Lahore, Pakistan.
The selected candidate will be responsible for exceeding/ achieving budgeted revenue for the assigned station. Protect existing businesses and constantly explore new opportunities. Create maximum awareness of QR’s products and services. Ensure quality customer service and smooth cargo operation of the station.
Accountabilities
- Planned, directed, and controlled all selling and marketing activities of the station and penetrated the local market to secure new sources of revenue and surpass set revenue budgets.
- Prepare a Business and Marketing Plan to optimize revenue opportunities and maximize QR’s presence in the market.
- Maintain regular contacts with the cargo industry (Agent, Key Clients, Business partners, etc.)
- Supplement sales calls made by the sales force, to establish contacts and maximize QR’s exposure to the marketplace (Continuously increase awareness of QR products)
- Supervise the sales team to optimize cargo revenue production and develop/ optimize their potential (Distribute areas of responsibility and allocate sales targets to sales executives. Supervise and monitor the sales force and strengthen their weak areas).
- Research competitor benchmarketing using compliant approaches through publicly available sources. Conduct a comparative study and evaluation of QR market share, and traffic movements to/from the station to identify areas of concern and develop remedial action.
- Ensure QR’s participation in sales campaigns and public events, collecting sales leads for circulation to concerned departments and stations. (Liaise with the marketing department to obtain technical assistance required and ensure that the programs conform to QR policies and standards.)
- Assist customers/ clients with all information related to booking/ forwarding/ delivery liaising with local Ground Handling Agents and with Head Office Cargo Department to ensure/ enhance a satisfactory service provided by QR.
- Educate agents/ clients with all QR procedures and procedures regarding the prevailing standards for booking/ delivering issues from time to time and by paying agents regular sales visits to generate maximum revenue by providing complete sales & after-sales service and encourage them to generate more business on QR.
- Maintain a proper profile of all the QR cargo agents and clients and pay them visits regularly. Maintain and update the profile of the cargo agents to keep in close contact with them and pay them regular visits to be more vigilant and fully aware of their activities and encourage them to generate more revenue.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Marketing and Sales.
- Good presentation/ negotiation skills
- Managerial skills with the ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage/ coach team members Apply
Position: Senior Cargo Agent
We are pleased to announce this incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways, as a Senior Cargo Agent in our office in Karachi, Pakistan
The selected candidate will provide assistance in generating maximum cargo sales to meet or exceed the set revenue/tonnage target for stations and to provide customer service in sales and operational areas liaising with GHA at stations and HDQ.
Accountabilities
- Assist in generating maximum revenue by visiting cargo agents, telesales, and promotional activities.
- Arrange and deliver necessary cargo stationaries, forms, and labels to GHA and appointed sales agent to have smooth handling and comply with regulations.
- Maintain close coordination between QR space Control and customer by ensuring their shipments are transferred, and delivered on time and maximum priority is given to shipments.
- Prepare the monthly marketing report for sales achieved at stations and hand it over to the responsible person to capture information.
- Coordinate with Customers/Cargo Claims Supervisor at HO and forward all necessary claim documents, handle discrepancies at stations, and administrative issues related to stations.

Qualifications
- Relevant Vocational, Tertiary, or Trade qualification with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of Cargo Sales, Cargo Procedures export, and import.
- Knowledge of Cargo Sales will be an added advantage.
