Staff Positions

Manager Graduate Support Office Qualification: MS/Masters in Management Sciences or relevant discipline (18 years). Experience: Must have 5 years of experience

This role requires collaboration with all stakeholders, including Heads of Departments, Heads of Support Departments, Program Managers, and the Controller of Academics. The Manager will also coordinate with the head office and accreditation bodies relevant to the domain. The primary responsibilities include managing PhD and MS program activities, overseeing research work and thesis supervision, maintaining student personal files, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, and managing the pool of supervisors and examiners. Additionally, the Manager will ensure effective coordination with the head office. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing academic programs, strong organization and leadership skills, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Assistant Manager Marketing & Industrial Liaison

Qualification: MBA/ MS in Marketing, MPA, Business Development, Communication or relevant discipline (18 years). Experience: Must have 5 years of experience

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a marketing manager or business development manager. He/she will be expected to be well connected with marketing agencies, news avenues, funding sources, and marketing avenues. He/She must ensure that the students, job-centers and industry look forward to working with SZABIST Islamabad. “Graphics Designing” is a must-have skill for this position.

  • Assistant Controller Academics
  • Qualification: MS/Masters in Management Sciences or relevant discipline (18 years)
  • Experience: Must have 5 years of experience

The Assistant Controller Academics will be responsible for managing all necessary arrangements for holding classes. The candidate must have relevant working experience and strong coordination skills to coordinate and follow up with faculty members/Program Managers for timely preparation of Academic Calendar, processing of all PhD dissertation related activities, supervision of class scheduling/cancelling/re-scheduling/make-up classes. The candidate must possess excellent IT skills especially in Microsoft Excel, Word and relevant software.

  • Technical / Grant / Proposal Writer
  • Qualification: MBA in Project Management/MS in Project Management, Economics or relevant discipline. (18 years) Experience: Must have 5 years of experience

He/She should be able to prepare consultancy proposals, project proposals, presentations, and work closely with research team to produce deliverable for the clients. The knowledge of Business Development, Proposal writing, and end to end client relationship management is required. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in working as proposal writer for international development organizations and donor agencies including World Bank, Asian Development Bank, USAID, UNDP, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Harvard University. The candidate will also be responsible for proposal writing and obtaining project funding from national and international Development agencies including but not limited to HEC and USAID.

  • Penetration Tester / Cyber Security Analyst
  • Qualification: BS/MS (Computer Science/Information Technology) (16/18 years)
  • Experience: Must have 3 years of experience

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ethical hacking and penetration testing, along with expertise in a wide range of security domains. Responsibilities include conducting thorough penetration testing and ethical hacking assessments, utilizing tools such as NMAP and threat intelligence platforms, managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) and key management systems, and implementing and maintaining data security best practices. The Pen Tester will be responsible for security applications and tools across browsers, enforcing security protocols and standards, and providing hands-on testing and training for Windows, OSX, and Android. Responsibilities also include overseeing security architecture and vulnerability management, and applying risk-based approaches to enhance the security posture of the organization. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in these areas, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.

  • Officer QEC
  • Qualification: Master’s degree in relevant discipline (18 years)
  • Experience: Must have 4 years of experience

Responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures for academic programs. The ideal candidate must have experience working with accreditation bodies and regulatory agencies. The QEC officer will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating academic programs, conducting regular assessments and audits, and ensuring continuous improvement. The candidate must possess excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff. The QEC officer will also be involved in data collection and analysis for program review and accreditation purposes, as well as assisting in the preparation of self-assessment reports. The QEC officer should have knowledge of quality assurance systems and methodologies, and should be able to use statistical tools like SAS, SPSS. Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings in a concise and efficient manner.

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (16 years)
  • Experience: Must have 3 years of experience

This role involves performing HR generalist duties with a specific focus on managing insurance-related matters. The Assistant Officer HR will be responsible for handling employee insurance policies, processing claims, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Assistant Officer Paramedics will also be responsible for maintaining medical supplies and equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on campus. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Paramedicine, Nursing, or a related field, along with relevant certifications in first aid and emergency response. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.

  • Assistant Academics / CCTV Operator
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (16 years)
  • Experience: Must have 2 years of experience

He/She must be proficient in the applications of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The Assistant Academics will be responsible for assisting the Academic Head with scheduling, record-keeping, and other administrative tasks. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for monitoring and operating the CCTV system to ensure the safety and security of the support departments. Relevant experience for CCTV operator is mandatory.

  • Team Lead Qualification: MS in Data Science / Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering Experience: Python programming, Advanced development frameworks of Java and Microsoft for implementing machine learning and deep learning based tools in cloud computing environment, MYSSQL Server and Oracle, Knowledge of big data tools and techniques, (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and Cloud machine learning) for data processing and management is also required.
