Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- To maintain a thorough understanding of the audit entity, including regulatory issues and emerging risks.
- Communicate regularly with the stakeholders to stay updated on relevant issues.
- To develop a comprehensive understanding of all processes, risks, and controls within the audit entities.
- To develop and update Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) of functions and their processes annually.
- To assign composite risk ratings to the audit entities and arrange necessary resources for conducting the audit.
- To prepare and obtain approval from the Program Director and issue the Audit Opening Letter (AOL) to auditee management.
- To conduct meetings with auditee management to develop business understanding.
- To hold kick-off meeting(s) with the Auditee Management before starting the audit.
- Prepare and send the Audit Planning Information Request (APIR) to auditee management.
- To prepare the Audit Planning Document (APD), get it approved by the Program Director, upload it in eAudit, and provide it to the audit team before the start of actual field audit execution.
- To review testing procedures for each audit to be tested and update the Program Director on any changes in testing procedures.
- To ensure all test work is completed as planned with no exceptions pending evaluation.
- To obtain and review the Conflict-of-Interest disclosure form from the audit team for each engagement.
- To allocate audit tests to team members (in consultation with the Team Leader) in eAudit and approve testing work or simplify if the original sample is amended by the audit team during fieldwork.
- Supervise and monitor ongoing audit engagements, review reports, and conduct regular meetings with the audit team and auditee management.
- To ensure all findings are discussed with the auditee and written responses are received with agreed timelines and their disposition, and uploaded in eAudit.
- To monitor and supervise the ongoing audit engagement, receipt, and appropriateness of CAPs and timelines.
- To escalate issues to the Program Director if CAPs and management responses are not received within the prescribed timeframe.
- To issue the final audit/review report along with the control rating.
- Ensure all relevant documentation required to validate corrective actions is uploaded on eAudit.
- To validate resolved audit issues during the next cycle audit or as advised by the Program Director / Group Chief.
- To present a summary of pending issues / overdue CAPs to auditee management / Program Director every quarter.

- To support Business Banking Relationship Managers for joint marketing calls and credit set-up/call solutions to clients and conduct training for Relationship Managers in their regions regarding the sales potential of business and corporate clients.

Educational / Professional Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.
- Candidates having a Master’s Degree and/or relevant certification(s) would be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 05 years of experience in the Banking industry, out of which 03 years in Corporate and/or Investment Banking roles.
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
- Strong understanding of products and services offered in Corporate & Investment Banking.
- Excellent Banking & Management skills and credit-related expertise.
- Sound analytical and decision-making skills with broad knowledge of the industry and target segments.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients.
